Tasty Tuesday-Joni style

Joni has done it again! I seriously wonder how she keeps her butt so miniscule?! The first recipe I have had and let me tell you...it's AWESOME! Seriously, go make it-right now! Thanks, Joni for sharing your good cookin' with us!

Easy Pickle No-Wrap1 small jar of DILL pickle relish (I like to drain as much of the juice out as possible)
1/2 lb of deli honey ham
8 oz whipped cream cheese
Mix & chill & spread on crackers or cocktail bread
**I like butter crackers!!!!

Turkey Broccoli Hollandaise

1 cup of fresh broccoli florets
1 pkg (6oz) stuffing mix (I like the herb flavor but any kind will do)
1 envelope of Hollandaise sauce mix (prepared as per pkg directions)
2 cups cooked turkey (or chicken)
1 can (2.8 oz) french fried onions

In large sauce pan with 1 inch of water add broccoli and boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5-8 min.
Meanwhile prepare stuffing mix and sauce mix.
Spoon stuffing into greased 11x7 pan (I use 9x13)
Top with turkey or chicken.
Drain broccoli; arrange over turkey/chicken.
Spoon suace over the top; sprinkle with french fried onions.
Bake, uncovered @ 350 for 25-30 min.

Super easy and cheap!

Thrifty Thursday-Cheap Entertainment

I hope you all enjoyed our MOPS meeting as much as I did! It is always fun to see what table you'll be at and make new friends. Below are some fun and free/inexpensive activities to enjoy as a family.

Did you know every 3rd Sunday the Children's museum offers FREE admission?  Well, I didn't!  http://www.mcm.org/visitor-information/admission/target-free-3rd-sundays/

Michael's Crafts offers inexpensive craft opportunities.  Usually you just have to purchase cheap materials like a foam hat or clay pot and the decorating materials are provided.  http://www.michaels.com/Store-Events/store-events,default,pg.html?cm_sp=mik-_-the%20knack-_-store%20events

Something fun at Como. Lil' Explorer's Thursday from 10-noon. Meet animals, story time, games, and a new theme each week.  Best part-it's FREE!  http://www.comozooconservatory.org/education/kids/lil-explorers-thursdays/#/general

You're next!  Do you have any free or inexpensive entertainment tips? Please leave a comment below and share what you know:)
