Mentor Moms' Monday and a Half (It's a little late)

Life Happens

Yesterday was a very busy day for me and life was happening.  One of the things I was doing was shopping for birthday bags for homeless Anoka County teens.  It not something I would have normally thought of in my day-to-day life when life is happening with my family, but it will be something I think about now.
The birthday bags are the end of the year project for the Bible study I have been attending.  In the MOPS group, appropriately so, the focus in on young children and mothers. Mothers' hearts, can  you imagine what it would be like to be a homeless teen?  I just don't equate Anoka County with homeless teens. I do believe teens are a group in the grand scheme of charitble giving that is often overlooked.
Anyway,  if anyone would like to check out the organizaion it is called Hope4Youth. www.hope4youthmn.org.  Pray for those that are truly less fortunate.  Pray for families.  Our society so needs Jesus!

Blessings,
