Made to Crave-Book Review

In keeping with our wellness month, Joelle is sharing about a great book geared toward helping women overcome their weight and food issues. I know that women in my church did a Bible study on it and they seemed to really enjoy it. Joelle writes:
What I’m reading now:

The end of January is near. I don’t know about you, but I am struggling with my resolution of eating better and exercising. My motivation seems to go down along with the outside temperature. I’ll admit that I struggle with being an emotional eater. When I get stressed, I head straight for the cupboard or fridge. There are a few different resources I am using right now to help me with this ongoing struggle. One that I’d greatly recommend is the book “Made to Crave” by Lysa TerKeurst. On the cover under the title, it says “satisfying your deepest desire with God, not food.” The book gives practical advice and solutions, but also talks about the emotional component of our struggle with food. For me it was powerful to realize that God created me to crave Him, but when times get tough I turn to other things instead – especially food.  Lysa also has many other great books geared toward women, and she writes so honestly and has such a big heart. I look forward to reading more.
Thank you, Joelle! I'm off to half.com to see if I can score this book for a bargain!
