Women in the Word-Marriage in Pieces

http://www.ourfamilyforhisglory.com/2012/10/marriage-in-pieces/   If you've been married for any length of time you can probably relate.  I don't think it is the heat of the moment that kills a marriage but the brick wall that is built after.  Holding on to bitterness, being self righteous, and keeping score, little by little builds a wall that is almost impossible to penetrate.

This blogger shows us that a bad moment can open the door for a real deep intimate connection with your spouse.  She could of used his peace offering as a invitation to once again let him have it and they could of spent a sleepless night hugging the edges of the bed. Their day would of started with cheap jabs, animosity and tension that would spill over onto their children.  Instead, they will smile about how exhausted they are by their late night. They will be content, because not only did they weather the storm but they grew closer. Allow God into your marriage and let God work through you not only when your marriage is for better but especially when it is for worse. Sometimes the only life line is the one you throw, it can be heavy but oh so worth it! Don't let the enemy win.
