Welcome to MOPS 2013-14!

It is great to see so many new (and returning) faces at MOPS this year! Last year I was one of the new faces, and little did I know as I first walked through the doors what an impact MOPS would have on my life.

My name is Amy J, and I feel honored to be writing for the MOPS blog this year! I'm a writer at heart, and while I don't always get a lot of time to sit down and write/type at length these days (I admit, my own blog has been a bit neglected), I am always writing something in my head...or in a journal...or on a scratch paper with bunnies or ladybugs or monkeys on it. I've been praying about writing for MOPS and look forward to the challenge for the year ahead!

I'm working on a post to share my story of getting to MOPS, and how it has impacted my life. I would LOVE to hear your story too! It can be short, sweet, and simple, or it can be long and detailed <---how most of my posts will probably be ;-)   I will compile your stories to share in a future post! Friday Fun- Free Summer Concerts in the Park

Thursday Nites LIVE! at the Dam.

Concerts are held Thursday evenings at the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park picnic/performance

pavilion, 9750 Egret Boulevard, beginning at 7:00 p.m. These concerts are free of charge, and

Anoka County has waived the parking fees for each concert.
